The Employment Mentor Manifesto The national jobless rate has jumped to a 26-year high of 9.7 percent. Over 15 million americans are currently unemployed. Many of our friends and family members have been affected by this economic down turn.
We at Employment Mentor have created this community to help. This site offers the unemployed and their support group a wealth of resources, assistance, ideas, potential jobs, and several start-up opportunities that can help boost the hopes and provide the opportunities needed for many of our friends and family members to once again become successful. I was a stay at home mom for six years. A terrible divorce forced me to go into the work force. I decided to go to college and become a Registered Nurse. That was twelve years ago. I worked as a labor and delivery nurse and loved my career. Three years after my divorce I remarried and decided that I was so mentally burned out from nursing that I should give something else a try.
Candace Nelson came from a long line of cooks. Her great grandmother was renowned in the 1930s for the distinctive desserts she created in her San Francisco restaurant. So she went to a pastry school to further her hone her skills.
